New optoelectronic devices for the Near and Mid-Infrared spectral range open completely new possibilities for portable sensors creation. Using infrared LED-PD optopairs allows developing an instrument that is smaller, less expensive and energy-saving.

Near- & Middle-Infrared LEDs

Our near-infrared (1000-2500 nm range) and mid-infrared (2800-5000 nm range) Light emitting diodes (LEDs) possess certain competitive advantages:

✔ Compact size of the LED chip – 0.35x0.35 mm
✔ Possibility to arrange multi-element arrays enables obtaining multi-wavelength emitters in single compact packages
✔ No need of optical filters - LEDs emission band widths are comparable with absorption band widths of many chemical agents
✔ Capability to provide sufficient selectivity and accuracy for different sensing applications
✔ Low power consumption ( <1 mW)
✔ Fast response time
✔ Operation temperatures up to +150°C
✔ Lifetime 80 000 hours

We offer:
One-element LED models with 1.0-2.4µm peak wavelengths (near-infrared region) and 2.8-5.0µm (middle-infrared region).

About our standard LED chip design:

Beside standard LED models our product line includes LEDs with a special glass covering and LED arrays.
