New optoelectronic devices for the Near and Mid-Infrared spectral range open completely new possibilities for portable sensors creation. Using infrared LED-PD optopairs allows developing an instrument that is smaller, less expensive and energy-saving.

Electronics for LEDs and PDs

According to the Customers’ requests we developed different models of electronic units oriented for optimal operation with Mid Infrared LEDs and Photodiodes. Drivers and Amplifiers allow arranging a very flexible and easy-to-use set-up to carry out first experiments concerning optical measurements of gases, liquids and solid materials absorption in the middle infrared spectral range. The available operation regimes can be selected to take maximum benefits of using new narrow band-gap Mid IR LEDs and PDs.

We offer:

LED Drivers
MCD Multichannel LED Driver
MCD driver is a utility board that unites several functions:
- power supply of arrays comprising of Mid-IR LEDs, supporting up to 8 channels;
- photodiode signal processing and amplification;
- synchronisation of LED and photodiode signals.

PAb Photodiode preamplifier board
PAb photodiode preamplifier board
PAb preamplifier is oriented for amplification and conversion of the pulse current signal generated by LMSNT photodiodes (PDs). Preamplifier enables PD operation at photovoltaic mode (with no reverse bias) – mode in which photodiode becomes the source of photocurrent. PD photocurrent is amplified and converted by preamplifier into voltage signal.
